● Carbon Steel is resistant to rust, corrosion and high-temperature liquids. However, they may corrode after a large amount of exposure to acids, moisture and toxic chemicals.


UPVC Pipe is a good option to go for keeping all aspects and expectations intact. A good pipe fitting has several factors which make it up to the mark they are;

  • Capable of handling a high liquid pressure, and the specific design is well built for high-pressure fluid. We have to select a good pipe fitting material with high ratings for low and high-pressure conditions. Failure to that may lead to the explosion of the pipe and injury to the technician.

  • The piping system must be durable and reliable. Also, the material's durability depends on its cost as good quality materials will be costing higher. Stainless steel pipe fittings are not that prone to corrosion, while carbon steel pipe fittings can rust if exposed to painting or oil.

Indoor corrosion can result from cold and humid conditions or corrosive fumes from outside, mostly in polluted industrial areas. On the other hand, outdoor corrosion may be caused by seawater salt and inclement weather. Therefore, we have to make sure that we choose materials that can survive environmental stress.
